I had quite the interesting event happen yesterday. Was going to visit with some people after work yesterday. When i got in my car i checked to see how much gas i had since i needed to go home and get ready then go to their house which is about 20 miles away. Anyways i had a half a tank of gas which is plenty.

Got down there and hung out for a while then on the way home i noticed an odd sound coming from the rear of the car. It sounded as if something was dragging, i figured i ran over a stick or something since it’s been pretty windy lately and there are limbs all over the roads. I didn’t notice until i had gotten on the interstate so i figured that if it hadn’t dislodged it’s self by the time i got to town i’d stop and get it.

About half way to town i happened to glance at my fuel gauge and it said i only had 1/4 tank left thats when i started to notice something wasn’t right. When i was getting off the interstate i noticed that even though i was sitting still at a stop light i could still hear the noise this was another sign that something wasn’t quite right. I pulled over in a parking lot and got out to check the car. It had been raining all day so the parking lot was wet and i could see a trail leading from the back of my car through the parking lot where i had pulled in. It was a colorful trail. Yet another sign haha. I bent down to look under the car and could smell raw gas. That’s when all the signs added up. The mysterious loss of fuel, the sound, the colorful trail.

I tried to see where it was coming from but fuel and water ( it had been raining you know) was dripping off everything under the back of the car. I started the car back up and looked under the rear of the car, there was gas spraying everywhere from the front of the tank. I knew then that a fuel line was ruptured.

I called my dad to see if he could get a trailer or something to get the car home, he said he’d be there in a minute to check it out and see if he could get a trailer. After that call i called opie to see if i could borrow the line off of the parts car he had until i could buy a new one. Which he said would be cool as long as i replaced it. He also said he was gonna come check it out along with my parents.

Once they got there we got the car in the air and opie (who luckily had brought some overalls so he could get under the car) spotted the busted line. We got it off the car and ran to the parts store and got a new one and put it back on the car. All of this was done in the parking lot of the store haha. People kept driving by staring like we were crazy but hey gotta do what ya gotta do. But yep that was my fun day haha. Anyways just wanted to post something so this would be updated as for now i’m off.

I’m planning on starting online courses soon for a degree in somethign that i’m not quite sure yet. Going back to the art thing i found an art degree that teaches you alot. A lot of equipment is supplied with the course too. It looks very interesting. Granted most people will tell me i’m insane for wanting to put my time and money into an art degree but if you stop and think about it a degree in art could come in handy in many many different carreers. Plus i do plan on going for other courses i’m not going to limit myself to just one single path in life. I want to learn as much as possible in life. I want to try a little bit of everything. Basically i want to know a lot about a little and a little about a lot. I do believe that is it for now though for i am tired of typing and thinking haha.
